Short videos, document the act of applying a layer of a paint on the existing painting. In a performative way of expression both the act of freeing herself from what is visual and focusing on the sensual and experimental aspect of creation are shown. By touching and allowing unexpected results to happen, each painting becomes more referred to as “being alive”. All depict full concentration while creating. The series of the latest canvases reflect portraits that are enveloped in what is uncertain, disturbing, scary and stressful. I am running from physical details and the process is still ongoing and getting more blurry or even abstract.
